The Design and Create Your Own Charcuterie Board workshop is a 3-4 hour workshop that is held in a single session.

During the workshop, participants will learn general information about:

• the differences in the types of wood species,

• which wood species make good charcuterie boards and why,

• which tools are used to make a charcuterie board and why, and

• the order of operations of building a charcuterie board from scratch.​

The rest of the session follows a hands on format where participants will:

• select the wood for their charcuterie board,

• debark the wood (if necessary),

• flatten their board (if necessary),

• select the handle style,

• round over the edges of their board,

• sand their board,

• oil their board, and

• bring home their handcrafted piece!
